Delete

Bulk delete saved viewpoints, empty folders and animations, which the tree does one at a time.

What it does#

Search and tick, or pick out views by type, by being duplicates, or by having comments, then delete them as one operation.

How to use it#

1. Click Delete. Search or use the pickers to tick what should go.
2. Confirm. The dialog names how many items will be removed, because this changes the document.
3. The toast reports what was removed and anything that failed.

Limitations#

• Deleting is one undo step in Navisworks, so Ctrl+Z works, but check the count in the confirmation first.

Other uses#

• Clear out every view with a comment after the comments have been actioned.
